The season commences at Twin Springs Farmstead in the western part of Monroe County. Twin Springs Farm (James and Sara Farmer, Owners) has housed pork and goat in its pastures, as well as a wealth of morels and other edible wildlife in the woods. With a rich history of dairy production dating back to the 1800s, the farm is currently returning to its dairy roots. Its pastures will soon be home to a herd of Jersey cattle, with local milk and yogurt hitting the Bloomington area this fall. Enjoy the Farm Table evening’s pork produced by Twin Springs Farmstead.

Brandon Thorne has created a tantalizing menu centered around the freshest ingredients June has to offer. He has been working within the heart of Bloomington’s restaurant kitchens since 2006. He’s currently the Executive Sous Chef at C3 Bar where he’s been for the past six years. Brandon’s style of cooking is simple and approachable, letting the ingredients speak for themselves. He is excited to explore our local food landscape and share his passion with the Farm Table Dining Series.

Candace Beaucar – owner and sommelier of Monopole Tasting Room – will pair fine wines with our local flavors to tie together this sensory palate. Candace has enjoyed 24 years of varied experience in the hospitality industry and brings a community-wide reputation as a fine wine and fine food expert. Multi-talented, Candace will bring her culinary expertise into the beginning and finishing courses.
